My worrying holiday

During this holiday,I had a worrying exprience.Last month it was 5th month pregnancy.I went to the hospital to do an ultrasound for my baby.After one week,I went to the antenatal clinic to have my report.The doctor told me about my report.

They couldn't diagnose whether my baby had from Down Syndrome,but the ultrasound seemed different from normal.They told me about their doubt.If my baby has a Down Syndrome,so I have to stop my pregnancy.they suggested me to quickly do an amniocentesis test to check out the baby's chromosomes.It's the only way to know what the problem of my baby is.

When I heard this bad news,I felt very sad.
That night I cried all night,my husband comforted me.He said:"Maybe it's a mistake,you haven't done this test,nobady knows what will happen finally,don't you worry about it,we are young,we'll have an opportunity"

I thought about it one night,I couldn't sleep.In the morning,I went to the hospital and talked to a nurse I wanted to do this test.She helped me to make an appointmet on the mext tuesday at 1:30Pm.

That week,I felt the sky was dark,my mother and my friends often phoned me and comforted me.Told me to be more optimistic to face life.
After one week,I went to ST.George hospital.A nurse talked about the amniocentesis test.She explained the reasons and some dangers about this test.After I understood,I signed my name in a form.She told ST.George Hospital to do this test in a week,she suggested The Royal Hospital to do this test,because it is good for women.She helped me to make an appointment for following day at 11AM.

The next day,My hasband and I drove to the Royal Hospital.The receptionist asked me to take a seat to wait.

We were waitint and waiting.How slow time passed!After 2 hours,the nurse called me,she led us to anultrasound room and let me lying in bed.The doctor told me something about notes .
She used an ultrasound to probe my abdome to check my baby,after 30 minutes,she decided one place to do the amniocentesis.The nurse used antiseptic and antispticised my abdomen.The doctor used one hand to prob the baby and one hand to stick a needle in my womb.The nurse pumped two needles of fluid.

I felt pain and was scared,after 20 minutes,they finished the amniocentesis test.The doctor said if I wanted to know the result quickly,I had to pay$240.If not I must wait 2 weeks.I chose to pay$240.

After3 days,the hospital phoned me and told me about my result,she said:your baby hasn't get Down Syndrome.After 2weeks all the chromosomes report will be out,Don't worry about it!"

After 2weeks,the doctor phoned me and told me all things were normal,the result is good.
when I heard the news,I cried ,the doctor asked me after 4 weeks I need to do another test to check my blood sugar and urine.
I think during the pregnant period,It is very hard for the younger monther,because she must pay more attention to herself and the baby,she has look after the baby.so I think that's Mother's Day is so significant.
